Mr. Willingham started his career in 1976 with Century 21 Preferred Properties. In 1980 he obtained his Real Estate Brokers License and opened his own firm, New Concept Realty, Incorporated, (NCR). NCR does business under several trade styles NCR Commercial Brokerage, NCR residential Brokerage, NCR Real Estate Advisors, Sunbelt Business Brokers and Sunbelt Business Advisors.

He holds both the Graduate Realtors Institute, (GRI) and the Certified Residential Specialist, (CRS) designations from the National Association of Realtors and the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member, (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute of the National Association of Realtors. Mr Willingham also holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, (CRB), designation from the Realtors National Marketing Institute. Additionally, he holds the Certified Residential Manager, (CRM) designation from the California Apartment Association and the, (CBI) Certifide Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association.

Mr. Willingham has had a wide range of experience in various real estate related fields during his 29 year career. He has managed over 50 real estate agents and employees in his general real estate brokerage business, mortgage brokerage and property management company. Mr. Willingham developed over $10,000,000 of residential income properties and single family residences from the ground up. He has had experience in and is currently involved in real estate syndication, acting as general partner in several commercial real estate partnerships. In addition to his real estate sales and leasing experience he has had experience in risk management, construction management, litigation management, personnel management, market feasibility studies and alternate dispute resolution. Mr. Willingham is a real estate and business consultant and works with several national clients as well as many local clients.

Mr. Willingham has participated in the sale, purchase, lease or management of real estate assets in excess of $400,000,000.

Mr. Willingham is a Board Approved Instructor for Bakersfield Junior College. He is also approved as a Master Instructor for the California Apartment Association and teaches real estate classes and seminars throughout California.

He is active in the community and was president of the Kern County Apartment Association in 1980 and 1992. He was the Central Region Director of the California Apartment Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Bakersfield Association of Realtors. He is past chair of the Bakersfield Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Committee and was a member of their Equal Opportunity Committee. Mr. Willingham was a member of the Fair Housing Advisory Board, a joint board advising the city/county fair housing divisions.

He is a member of the Bakersfield, California, and National Association of Realtors; The California Business Brokers Association, (CABB), The International Business Brokers Association, (IBBA), and Income Property Association Of Kern, (IPAK).
